Listed on this site are a few answers to Service and Warranty procedures for your Kia. Rest assured that even though Shaker's is no longer affiliated with Kia, you are still a valued Shaker customer. We will do everything possible to ensure a Great Shaker experience as long as you own your vehicle.

I bought an extended warranty, who will service the warranty claims?

You could have purchased a couple of different menu options extended warranty plans. Best bet to find the one or ones you chose is to refer to your paperwork. We offer both KIA Protection Plans and U.S. Warranty Corp Protection Plans.
*Warranty Options by KIA can be fulfilled at any Authorized KIA dealership.
*U.S. Warranty Corp was established in 1975, and continues to ensure access to cost effective extended service coverage and additional benefits that keep you on the road and the cost of repairs at a minimum.

I bought a Certified Pre-Owned KIA, what happens with the Kia Certified Warranty?

It stays the same! You can continue to service and submit any CPO warranty claim at any KIA authorized dealership of your choosing. The warranty lives with the Vehicle Identification Number.

Where do I go for Kia warranty work or recalls?

For recalls and any warranty that falls under the KIA warranty, you would bring your vehicle to your most preferred authorized KIA dealer. For your reference, please see the map below which includes their locations and contact information.

It's the end of my lease. What do I do with my car when it's time to return it?

You have the option to drop it off at a Kia Dealer, they would help you through that process, the option to finance it and buy it out as your own, OR upgrade to the new model year, all through a Kia Dealer of your choosing. Where do I go for my continued Shaker’s Owner Loyalty Program?

Since Hyundai is the parent company to KIA, the vehicles are virtually alike, and Shaker's Family Hyundai is ready to take your vehicle in! Your Shaker's Owner Loyalty Program that came with your vehicle will most definitely be honored. You also have the option of our Shaker's Quick Lane location in Naugatuck if that is more convenient.

Where should I take my KIA for service and repairs?

For your regular routine service needs, Shaker's Family Hyundai will help to fulfill your car servicing without a hitch. If you are closer to the Naugatuck area, we have a Quick Lane location for your convenience. You do not even need to make an appointment, If you have a KIA recall or a KIA warranty claim, you can bring your vehicle to any certified KIA location.
